First Aid Courses in the Lake District
Mountains to Water First Aid Training delivers high quality professional courses designed to meet the needs of groups or individuals. All courses are run by Craig Palmer, an active member of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team, who knows only too well that basic and advanced first aid can and does save lives.
We offer a number of courses, all of which can be tailored to your specific needs.
- Emergency Life Support (4hrs)
- One day Appointed Person (8hrs)
- 2 day Emergency Care (16hrs)
- 2 day HSE First Aid at Work Refresher
- 4 day HSE First Aid at Work
- Advice on first aid kits and training
In addition to standard First Aid at Work courses we can tailor a first aid course to your group's particular needs be that water based recreation, mountain sports, youth groups or school groups for example. The course can be run from your workplace or from our venue which has facilities for power point projection, refreshments and disabled access.
Courses consist of a mixture of powerpoint presentations and practical workstations with high quality training aids and plenty of practical workstations to give every participant good hands on experience. On satisfactory completion of any of our courses you will be awarded a certificate from an HSE recognised company that is valid for 3 years and receive a rescue face shield and an emergency aid card in addition to course notes.
